Potassium (K) is one of the essential macronutrients required for plants and its availability to hampered due fixation with other ions. The Releasing Micro-organisms (KRMs) present in soil are capable converting fixed form potassium into an available K uptake. Most commonly potash releasing bacteria rhizosphere belong phylum Firmicutes, Proteobacteria Actinobacteria. These microbes produce organic acids, siderophores, biofilms insoluble a soluble form. They also some plant growth hormones, apart from providing abiotic biotic stress resistance which results enhanced yield quality traits crop. use KRMs as bio-fertilizer could decrease level application chemical fertilizers thereby reduce excess accumulation soil. presence sufficient numbers Potash Bacteria (KRB) would ease transformation processes.
